Sleep didn't come easy for Alice Baker of Bastrop after discovering she won a $10,000 top prize from a Hit $100 scratch-off ticket from the Louisiana Lottery.
"I couldn't sleep the night after I scratched the ticket and won!" exclaimed Baker, age 51, who said she plans to save her winnings.
Baker purchased her winning scratch-off from TC's on Crossett Road in Bastrop.
With the chance to win up to 10 times on each ticket, Hit $100 features a total of four top prizes, with three remaining as of Sept. 9.
According to Louisiana Lottery policy, a scratch-off game is closed and removed from sale when all top prizes for the game have been claimed. Winners have 90 days from the official game closure date in which to claim their prize.
Lottery ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age.
