Jimmy Hughes of Shreveport claimed a $200,000 match-5 Powerball prize from the Aug. 9 drawing at Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Monroe office.

"I just keep grinning. I can't stop," exclaimed Hughes who said he plans to pay bills and buy a new vehicle with his winnings. "This makes everything a lot easier. I'm really thankful."

Hughes' winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn, but missed the red Powerball number. He purchased his winning ticket from Madison Auto Truck Plaza on Highway 577 in Delhi. The retailer will receive a bonus of $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The winning numbers for the Aug. 9 drawing were 32-40-43-49-53 and the Powerball was 21.
