Edward Sylve of D'Iberville, Miss., had his dreams come true when he won $40,012 from the July 16 Powerball drawing.

"I dreamt these numbers one night and have been playing them ever since," said Sylve, age 70, who bought his winning ticket from Lishman's IGA in Slidell.

Sylve's ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers drawn plus the red Powerball number to win $10,000. He won $3 on a second ticket by matching only the Powerball number. However, Sylve purchased the Power Play option on both of his tickets and multiplied his winnings by four when the Power Play number 4 was selected during the drawing.

The winning numbers for the July 16 drawing were 03-15-23-29-42 and the Powerball was 17. Players can add the Power Play option to their tickets for an additional dollar per play for the chance to multiply any non-jackpot prize up to five times depending upon the Power Play number randomly selected during the drawing.
