St. Martinville Resident Claims a $30,000 Mystery Crossword Top Prize

Charlene Champagne of St. Martinville claimed a $30,000 top prize from a $3 Mystery Crossword scratch-off ticket at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Lafayette office.
"I enjoy playing crossword scratch-offs," said Champagne, age 61. She said she plans to use her winnings to buy a new lawn mower. Champagne purchased her winning ticket at Randall Dugas Grocery on Bridge Street in Parks.
Mystery Crossword has three top prizes remaining as of April 16 and offers players the chance to win up to $30,000 on each ticket.
Players must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
