Bossier City Resident Claims a $14,000 Lucky Hearts Top Prize

For Sonja Marie Basulto Hernandez of Bossier City, Feb. 1 marked the first time she won playing a Louisiana Lottery game. What made the experience even sweeter is what she won, a $14,000 top prize from a $2 Lucky Hearts scratch-off just in time for Valentine's Day.
"This feels great!" she exclaimed.
Hernandez, age 26, purchased her winning ticket at Food Town on Benton Road in Bossier City.
Lucky Hearts is one of the Lottery's $2 scratch-off games. It has three top prizes of $14,000 remaining as of Feb. 5 and offers players the chance to win up to 10 times on each ticket.
Players must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
