Oakdale Resident Claims $10,000 Prize from the March 31 Powerball Drawing

David C. Thompson of Oakdale claimed $10,000 at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Alexandria office as a result of a winning Powerball ticket from the March 31 drawing.
Thompson's ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers plus the red Powerball number to win his prize.
He purchased his winning ticket at MZ Zack's #1 on Coliseum Boulevard in Alexandria. Thompson's winning ticket was a "quick pick," meaning his numbers were randomly generated by the Lottery's computer.
Persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867 for help.
