Garden City Resident Claims $$15,000 Top Prize From Scratch-off Ticket

David Polidore of Garden City claimed a $15,000 top prize at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Lafayette office from a Luck of the Draw scratch-off ticket.
"The ticket just looked lucky," he said. "And I'm going to keep playing!" Polidore, age 45, purchased his winning ticket at T & D's on East Main Street in Franklin.
Polidore is the first winner to claim a top prize for this game which launched on June 25. The $2 scratch-off game Luck of the Draw features six remaining top prizes as of July 4; the chance to win up to 10 times; and 1:4.51 overall odds of winning a prize.
