Houma Resident Wins $200,000 on an Emerald Green 7s Scratch-off Ticket

Raul Hurtado of Houma claimed a $200,000 top prize at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's New Orleans office from an Emerald Green 7s scratch-off ticket.

"I like emeralds.  I once bought my wife an emerald bracelet," said Hurtado, age 46.  He said that he has bought quite a few Emerald Green 7s scratch-off tickets in the last week.  "I almost had a heart attack when I won.  I'm going to put my money in the bank and keep on playing." 

Hurtado purchased his winning ticket at Danny and Clyde's #23 on Highway 311 in Houma.
