New Orleans Native Wins SAINTS FEVER! Behind the Scenes Experience

Ashli Rhodes may now reside in Natchitoches, but her heart—including her love for the Saints—remains in her hometown of New Orleans. She spent the weekend back in the Big Easy after winning the Behind the Scenes Game Day Experience Prize Package when her nonwinning Louisiana Lottery SAINTS FEVER! scratch-off was selected from among 7,500 second-chance drawing entries.
Ashli Rhodes and her husband, Justin Rhodes, along with friends Kasie and Patrick Couture, attended the Dec. 6 game against Carolina.
"We have season tickets," Ashli Rhodes said, "so I was most excited about getting on the field before the game."
Ashli Rhodes, a long-time Lottery player, said she has played Saints-themed Lottery scratch-off tickets for the past two years with hopes of being selected as a prize package winner.
"I almost didn’t think I would ever win," Ashli Rhodes said. "So when I actually won, I couldn’t wait to call everybody and tell them the news."
Rhodes and her guests were treated to a tour of the press box, as well as exclusive access to the post-game press conference with Saints Head Coach Sean Payton. She also received four Plaza Club Sideline tickets, pregame field passes, a parking pass, one-night hotel accommodations (two rooms) and $500 spending cash as part of her prize.
During the Nov. 18 second-chance drawing, the third of the season, nine finalists also won official autographed Saints merchandise. Christine B. Waller of Westlake, Ricky D. White of Calhoun and Mike Matthieu of Scott won an autographed Saints jersey. Herbert Provost of New Iberia, Stevie Green of Baton Rouge and Deborah Munday of Dry Prong won an autographed Saints helmet. Jeanette Cooper of Zachary, Christi Arnett of Livingston and Kay A. Bourgeois of Paulina won an autographed Saints football.
The 2015 SAINTS FEVER! scratch-off game features three scenes bearing the Saints fleur-de-lis logo, game-day action and team memorabilia all emblazoned in shiny gold metallic ink with top prizes of $100,000. Plus, players have the opportunity to enter nonwinning tickets into a series of second-chance drawings to win unique game-day prize experiences or official autographed Saints merchandise.
"We upped our game with this year's experience prizes that include exclusive access to areas of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and game activities usually off-limits to fans," explained Lottery President Rose Hudson. "When players don't win an instant prize on SAINTS FEVER!, they can use it to enter their favorite second-chance drawing to win a one-of-a-kind experience guaranteed to cure Saints fever!"
Players can still enter their nonwinning tickets into the game’s fourth and final second-chance drawing to be eligible to win the 2016 Season Prize Package, which includes four Plaza Sideline tickets for the 2016 football season, four pregame field passes for every game, a parking pass and a VIP tour of the Saints practice facility. The winner and three guests will also receive round-trip limo service to the facility in Metairie (or overnight accommodations if the distance exceeds 75 miles) where they will view a team practice and have lunch in the team cafeteria.
To enter the second-chance drawings, players should complete the information on the back of non-winning $5 SAINTS FEVER! scratch-off tickets and mail one ticket per envelope (no larger than 4.5" by 9.5") to the drawing address printed on the back of the ticket. Players can enter as many times as they wish, but each entry should be mailed in a separate envelope.
Complete game and second-chance drawing entry rules, prizes and a second-chance drawing schedule can be found on the Lottery's website, louisianalottery.com/saints-fever.
