Houma Woman Claims $1.3 Million Lotto Jackpot Prize

Glenise LaGarde stepped forward Monday to claim the $1,330,592 Lotto jackpot from the March 18 drawing.
The 53-year-old Houma resident’s Quick Pick ticket matched all six Lotto numbers to win the prize. Her winning numbers were 10-14-21-25-30-31.
LaGarde received $931,414.40 after state and federal tax withholdings. The winning ticket was sold at Tunnel Express on East Tunnel Boulevard in Houma. The store will receive a bonus of $13,305.92, which is 1 percent of the prize, for selling LaGarde the jackpot-winning ticket.
Lottery ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. Draw-style game tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. Anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem should call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help.
