Covington Woman Claims $325,000 Lotto Jackpot
Jesus Maria Humbles stepped forward Monday to claim the $325,000 Lotto jackpot won in the Louisiana Lottery’s April 16 drawing. The 36-year-old Covington resident’s Quick Pick ticket matched all six numbers in the drawing, 05-06-14-20-27-38. Humbles received $227,500 after state and federal tax withholdings. The winning ticket was sold at Babu Quick Stop in Bogalusa. The store will receive a selling bonus of $3,250 which is 1 percent of the prize. Lottery ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. Draw-style game tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
