Louisiana Lottery players won nearly $14 million in prizes in July, highlighted by one Lotto jackpot worth $350,000 and another worth $325,000.

President Rose Hudson said there were over $7.5 million in Louisiana Powerball, Lotto, Cash Quest, Pick 4 and Pick 3 winnings and over $6.4 million in scratch-off game winnings last month.

July winners also included four Powerball tickets worth $200,000 each and 10 Powerball tickets worth $10,000 each; 132 Lotto tickets averaging $2,023 each and two Cash Quest tickets worth $3,000 each.  Pick 3 winners won a total of $2,122,260 and Pick 4 winners won a total of $1,510,800.

"Last month over 26,000 Power Play purchasers won a bonus total of $430,163 in addition to their regular Powerball prize total of $148,890.  This included three Powerball tickets worth $40,000 each," Hudson said.  "The Power Play option offers Powerball ticket purchasers the chance to multiply their winnings up to five times on all non jackpot-related prizes for an additional $1 per play."

Hudson reminded ticket purchasers to play responsibly, encouraging anyone who has a gambling problem, or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem, to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867 for help.  Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age.
