Submit one photo of yourself that represents your Louisiana area code for a chance to win a Louisiana Lottery Prize Package! Photos must include you and show how you represent your area code, such as with local landmarks, team gear, or homemade signs. One entry per person. PROMOTION DETAILS
Contest Description
Show off your Louisiana spirit! If you’re 21 years of age or older, find or take a pic that reps your area code and enter our “Rep Your Area Code” web promotion. Fifteen lucky players (three from each Louisiana area code) will win a Louisiana Lottery Area Code Prize Package packed with Lottery swag.
How to Enter
Beginning Monday, October 27 at 10 a.m., eligible participants are invited to submit a photo through the Lottery’s designated web form on the “ENTER NOW” tab above by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 9.
Entries must feature the participant and show how they represent their Louisiana area code.
We want to see how YOU keep it local. You can rock your hometown team’s gear, hold up a hand-painted sign, or strike a pose at your favorite landmark. Group shots, and community spirit are all welcome!
Photo guidelines include:
- Clothing, hats or props with city names, local teams/brands, businesses, or culture tied to their area code
- Homemade props or signs featuring their area code
- Photos at local landmarks or recognizable settings
- Group, family, or community shots are welcome
No entries will be accepted in person, by mail or through any other method. Only one entry per person is allowed. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the promotion. Winners will be randomly selected from the field of entries.
Inappropriate, stock, or off-topic photos will be disqualified at the Lottery’s sole discretion.
Prizes
Fifteen (15) winners will win a Louisiana Lottery Area Code Prize Package, which includes:
- One (1) Louisiana Lottery Crawfish Tray
- Three (3) Area Codes scratch-offs, matched to the winner’s area code they reside in or choose to represent
- One (1) Louisiana Lottery T-shirt
- Two (2) koozies
- One (1) duffle bag
- One (1) 40 oz. metal tumbler
- One (1) 2026 calendar
Prizes have no cash value. In the unlikely event the Lottery is unable to fulfill a stated prize due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize(s) of equal or greater value will be substituted at the Lottery’s sole discretion.
Winner Selection & Notification
Three (3) winners will be randomly chosen from the field of eligible entries in each Louisiana area code (225, 318, 337, 504, 985) for a total of 15 winners. Winners will be selected by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12.
Winners will be contacted by email using the address provided on the entry form between November 13–17 and will be asked to verify eligibility by submitting a copy of their photo ID. Winners have two business days after any form of attempted communication by the Lottery to verify their eligibility status or their prize will be forfeited; the Lottery may, at its discretion, assign an alternate winner in those cases.
Publicity
Entrants grant permission to the Lottery to have their names and submitted photos included in the Lottery’s publicity efforts. Entrants also agree to be recognized publicly on the Lottery’s website and social media channels.
Eligibility
This promotion is open to Louisiana residents at least 21 years of age. Residency and age will be verified. The following individuals are excluded from participating in Louisiana Lottery promotions:
- Any member of the Board of Directors, officer or employee of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
- Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any Louisiana Lottery employee, officer or member of the Board of Directors.
- Any employee of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2025 calendar year. This includes but is not limited to advertising agencies, gaming system vendors, printers, auditors, promotional product suppliers, etc.
- Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2025 calendar year.
- Any person who falls into one of the categories listed above or who does not meet the age and residency requirements will be deemed ineligible to participate.
Acknowledgements
All contest entrants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery’s interpretation of them in executing the promotion.
Entrants also acknowledge that in matters of administering the contest, the decisions of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation are binding and final.

The Louisiana Lottery is solely responsible for conducting and administering this contest. The Lottery shall have no responsibility or liability for any actual or claimed harm that may arise due to promotional materials or prizes. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Louisiana Lottery Corporation and its promotional partners.
The Louisiana Lottery is not responsible or liable for any error, omission or technical problem related to its promotions, including but not limited to entries and submissions, website problems, Internet problems or participant device issues. If for some reason a promotion is not capable of running as originally planned, the Lottery has the right to modify, suspend or cancel all or any portion of the promotion’s rules.
