Alexandria Woman Claims $77,777 Top Prize from Golden 7s Scratch-off

Brenda McNeal of Alexandria was all smiles when she arrived at the Lottery's Alexandria office to claim a $77,777 top prize from a Golden 7s scratch-off. 

"I decided to buy a Golden 7s ticket because I noticed it was a new game," shared McNeal. "I couldn't be happier!"

McNeal, age 39, purchased her winning scratch-off from Tobacco Plus #2 on South MacArthur Drive in Alexandria.  She said she plans to use her winnings to take a cruise and pay bills. 

Golden 7s is a $5 game that features 15 chances to win on each ticket. The game has two $77,777 top prizes remaining as of today.

Persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket.  Anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem are encouraged to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867. For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
