Priscilla Richard of Orange, Texas said her sons thought she was playing a late April fool's joke when she told them she won the $666,852 Louisiana Lottery Lotto jackpot prize from the April 3 drawing.

The 73-year-old's Quick Pick ticket matched all six Lotto numbers. She said she and her family had won smaller prizes before, but she never expected to win a prize this large.

Richard received $466,795 after tax withholdings. She said she plans to pay bills, take a trip with her husband to Orlando, Fla. and give some money to her children and grandchildren. "They never ask for anything," she said.

Richard purchased her winning ticket at Delta Downs Racetrack and Casino in Vinton. The store will receive a one-time selling bonus of $6,668, which is 1 percent of the prize.

Lottery ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age.  Draw-style game tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. Anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem should call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help. For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.

Lotto is the Louisiana Lottery's flagship game with a cash jackpot that starts at $250,000 and rolls until it is won. Lotto drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday except for Christmas Day.
