Charles Lewis, Jr. wins $20,000 playing Powerball
Charles Lewis, Jr., of Magnolia, Ark., claimed a $20,000 Powerball prize from the March 14 drawing at the Lottery's Shreveport office.
About the Win
Lewis said it feels "great" to win and has no immediate plans for his winnings.
Lewis' ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, but missed the red Powerball number to win $10,000. Because he added the Power Play option to his ticket for an additional $1, his prize was multiplied by two when the Power Play number "2" was selected during the drawing, bringing his total winnings to $20,000.
Lewis purchased his ticket from Thirfy Liquor #12 on Pines Road in Shreveport.
