34th Annual Mudbug Madness Festival

The Louisiana Lottery is proudly sponsoring the 34th Annual Mudbug Madness Festival. The festival will take place from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. May 25 – 28 in Downtown Shreveport. The original Madness began in 1984 when North Louisianans took a stand after hearing that they were "more like Texans than anything else," by throwing their first event – a two day crawfish boil/festival. Many years filled with Louisiana spice and success later, the Mudbug Madness Festival is now nationally recognized as one of the Southeast Tourism Society's Top 20 Events, and a single festival day can draw up to 56,000 people.
