Pelicans Pick Promotion

Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to predict the number of points the New Orleans Pelicans will score during the April 27 game against Oklahoma City for a chance to win an official autographed team ball. 

 

Entries may only be submitted by commenting on the Lottery’s designated Facebook post with your Pelicans score. Four (4) winners will be randomly selected from the field of entries correctly predicting the number of points the New Orleans Pelicans score during the April 27 game against Oklahoma City. 

 

Beginning Wed., April 24, eligible participants can submit their prediction of the number of points the Pelicans will score during their April 27 game against Oklahoma City for a chance to win. Entries must be submitted electronically as a comment on the Lottery’s designated Facebook post before the game’s 2:30 p.m. tip-off on Saturday, April 27, 2024. 

 

No entries will be accepted in person, by mail or through any other method. Only one entry per person is allowed. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the promotion.

 

Four (4) winners will receive an official autographed team ball.

 

The prizes have no cash value and are nontransferable. In the unlikely event the Lottery is unable to fulfill a stated prize due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize(s) of equal or greater value will be substituted at the Lottery's sole discretion.

 

Four (4) entries will be randomly selected by Lottery personnel from the field of entries stating the correct number of points the Pelicans score during the April 27 game against Oklahoma City. In the event that there are no correct answers submitted, a winner will be drawn from those entries containing the next closest score without going over until all four prizes have been awarded. 

 

The apparent winners will be notified via a post on the Lottery’s Facebook page and direct message by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 29. Winners have until the next business day to verify their eligibility status, or their prize will be forfeited; the Lottery may, at its discretion, assign an alternate winner in those cases. Once confirmed, winners will be announced on the Lottery’s Facebook page.

 

The Louisiana Lottery’s New Orleans Pelicans Pick Promotion is open to Louisiana residents at least 21 years of age. Residency and age will be verified prior to announcing winners. The following individuals are excluded from participating in Louisiana Lottery promotions:

 

Any person who falls into one of the categories listed above or who does not meet the age and residency requirements will be deemed ineligible to participate.

 

All contest entrants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery’s interpretation of them in executing the contest.  The winner and their guests will be expected to comply with the language on the ticket backs, as well as venue and host policies and procedures.

 

In addition, entrants agree to participate in the Lottery’s publicity efforts in conjunction with this contest, including but not limited to photo publication, press releases, interviews and media coverage. 

 

Entrants also acknowledge that in matters of administering the contest, the decisions of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation are binding and final.

 

The Louisiana Lottery is solely responsible for conducting and administering this contest. The Louisiana Lottery shall have no responsibility or liability for any actual or claimed harm that may arise due to promotional materials or prizes. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Facebook or the Louisiana Lottery Corporation and its promotional partners.

 

The Louisiana Lottery is not responsible or liable for any error, omission or any technical problem related to its promotions, including but not limited to entries and submissions, website problems, applications problems, Internet problems or problems with a participant's computer. If for some reason a promotion is not capable of running as originally planned, the Lottery has the right to modify, suspend or cancel all or any portion of the promotion's rules.

 

Facebook and its affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in its promotions or the prizes awarded. Facebook has not offered or sponsored Lottery promotions in any way.

 

The New Orleans Pelicans will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this contest or the prizes awarded. The New Orleans Pelicans, NBA and its entities have not offered or sponsored this contest in any way. Winners agree to be bound by and comply with the ticket back language and the venue policies.
