Willie Wilson has become a regular visitor to the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's prize payment office in Monroe. His unbelievable lucky streak continued when he claimed $15,000 from 30 Pick 3 tickets for the July 28 drawing and $18,000 from 36 Pick 3 tickets for the July 31 drawing.
Recently, the Monroe resident also won $1,000 from the June 6 Pick 3 drawing and $10,000 from the May 11 Pick 3 drawing. He won $500 on each of his 66 tickets, bringing his total winnings for both drawings to $33,000 for matching the three numbers drawn exactly.
Willie said it was exhilarating to win. "My wife is a teacher and I think it's great that lottery dollars support public education," he commented. He purchased his tickets for the July 28 drawing at Northside Trak on Sterlington Road in Monroe.
