Hilda Deville of Morganza claimed the $111,540 jackpot from the Nov. 1 Easy 5 drawing at Louisiana Lottery headquarters in Baton Rouge and proved sometimes seeing is believing.

"I checked my numbers Sunday morning after my husband left for the store. I tried to call him, but he didn't answer," recalled Deville, age 39. "He didn't believe me when he got back until I showed him the ticket!"

After state and federal withholding taxes, Deville received $78,078, which she said she plans to use to pay bills and take her family on a vacation to Disney World.

Deville purchased her winning ticket at Village One Stop on Highway 1 in Morganza. The store will receive a one time bonus of $1,115 for selling the winning ticket.
