Roland purchased his winning tickets at Kwik Saver on West Metairie Avenue in Metairie.
He played three tickets as "box" sets, which meant that his numbers
could match the numbers drawn in any order to win a prize.
He played the other ticket as a "straight" set, which meant that his numbers had to match the numbers drawn in exact order to win a prize.
"This is the most I've won on Pick 4," he said. Simmons also said he's previously won playing Pick 4 and Pick 3.
