Lottery Drawings Produce $26.4 Million in Winnings in May While Scratch-Off Winners Claim $10.8 Million
Coinciding with a sales boost from last month’s record Powerball jackpot as well as a Powerball jackpot win in Louisiana, the Lottery reported an increase in the total amount of draw-style winnings to more than $26.4 million in prizes won during drawings held in May. The Lottery also reported over $10.8 million in scratch-off prizes paid in May.
